It is finally winter in Woodruff

Our seasons are so messed up!! We have had the most mild winter this year and have really had no snow at all. It is now the first of April and it looks like December. We woke up this morning to about 6 inches of snow. It snowed all day long and we now have close to a foot of heavy wet snow. It is crazy!!! I wish the weather would make up it's mind. The kids are so excited, especially Peyton. He can't wait to go out and build a snowman.

Both Chad and I were suppose to travel and wasn't very excited to see all of the snow when we got up. Chad had classes in SLC and I was going to Logan. I made it to Logan without any troubles, but Chad ended up running off the road and blowing 2 tires on his truck. After waiting for help and getting the tires fixed, he was to late to make his class. So he ended up back at home studying what he should have been doing at his class. I am just so grateful that it wasn't worse then it was and that he wasn't hurt. You never know when your life could change and I am so glad that we are all home and safe in our house on a very snowy night.

Bailey's Birthday

My baby turned 12!!! I can't believe that we have a 12 year old. It doesn't seem possible that she could have grown this fast, but she has and she is turning into a beautiful young lady.

We celebrated her birthday with our families with a dinner, cake and ice cream, and presents. She wanted to have a friend party too, but finding a day to have it has been almost impossible. She was a great sport and enjoyed the company of her family that love her dearly.

We love you Bailey and hope you had a great day!!!!

I always make my kids the cake of their choice. This year I asked Bailey what kind of a cake she wanted and her only request was a confetti cake. I asked her if she wanted anything on it and she was very discussed that I would ask and told me that she just wanted a cake. I guess she is to old for the "Cutesy" cakes. So she just got a plain old cake this year. My baby is growing up!!!

Opening her presents, and she got the cell phone she asked for.

Make a wish!!!

Bailey got some fingernail polish pens for her birthday and I guess my brothers thought they needed to try them out first. What a couple of dorks!!!

Tyus' Traveling Basketball Team

Tyus was asked to be on a traveling basketball team. They were going to play in a couple of tournaments. The tournaments were for the 4th graders, but they needed some more teams so our 3rd graders decided they wanted to play. Todd Stacey got a team together and took them to 2 tournaments. They did so awesome!!! At the first tournament we went to Jackson and they took 2nd place, loosing to our own 4th grade team. Last weekend they played in the Westside tournament and ended up loosing all of their games, but did very well and gave all of the teams great games. We were all so proud of them for doing so well playing against older kids that have been playing all year. Our little team just got put together a couple of weeks ago. GREAT JOB BOYS!!!!

After the tournament in Jackson we decided to walk around town and see the town. We ran into a museum called Ripley's Believe it or not. The boys really wanted to go in and see it and I am so glad that we did. They had a great time and some of the stuff was really amazing.

This was a favorite. The Two Headed Calf!!!

And the other favorite. The Crashed Airplane!!!!

To bad Bailey is to cool to hang out with her parents and little brothers. She decided that she would rather stay home and hang out with some of her friends. So she missed out on all the fun. Maybe we will be cool again and she will get a chance to go with us again. The boys are wanting to go back again someday. We had a great time!!!
