Stitches

So we had our first experience with getting stitches. I am actually really surprised that it hasn't happened before now. I guess we have just been lucky.

We went to the High School Volleyball game last night and Peyton was playing with some of Bailey's friends between the games and ran into a window seal and cut above his eye. After cleaning all of the blood up we found that it would probably need stitches. So we were off to Evanston to visit Aunt Amy at the ER. (Peyton was really glad she was working and she could be his nurse) He ended up with 3 stitches and he was such a trooper. He only cried a little bit because he was nervous, and maybe a little when they gave him the shot to numb it. He actually almost fell asleep when the Dr. was stitching it up. Now he is just proud of it and can't wait to show it off at school for show and tell.

This is what he looks like now. It is a little black and blue but not to bad

What is he going to be for Halloween? He could just dress up as a frankenstein.

We were glad Amy was working the day we made our trip for stitches with Ellie.
